Tara is a mother, grandmother, and children's book author from Birmingham, Alabama. She lives with her husband, son, and fur baby, a cat named Ivory. She enjoys creating books and sharing stories that inspire, encourage, engage, and teach young children. She is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Her work has been published in the When We Pray Anthology (2024) and the Prayers That Move Mountains Anthology (2025).
